IT IS NOT ABOUT BECOMING A BETTER MEDITATOR
It is really okay! Whatever it was! It is REALLY OKAY. However long you have been away and wherever you have been, it does not matter. The most important moment is the moment when you realize, that you have been gone. This is the crucial moment, when you can practice gentleness with yourself and you simply come back to the breath.
The point of meditation is not to become a great meditator who loses focus only after the 20th or 100th of breath but that WHEN you lose it, how you relate to yourself if you can love yourself.
The result of the meditation shows its result in life: if in your daily life you inevitable make mistakes, or you do not behave how it is expected from “a spiritual person” then how do you respond to yourself.
You have two choices. You can notice: haaa…oh, I made a mistake, I am a human being and you come back to yourself with love, or you just follow the inner judge and voices of self-blame.
When you ruin everything and you are sad, you can embrace yourself, how you would do this with this dog. You can become the best friend to yourself, you can just go on with LOVE, return to vigilance, to life, to the NOW. HERE. IN THIS MOMENT.
