class=\"elementor-icon-box-description\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\tThe first time I heard about the Enneagram in a retreat in 2003 with Gangaji and Eli Jaxon-Bear, I was not interested! <br>\nI was only interested in awakening just by resting in the presence of my teachers. However, when I was not in retreat but back in my ordinary daily life I realized I needed to learn about how I get back to suffering, I wanted to know the egoic and unconscious mechanisms, so in 2006 I did my first Enneagram Retreat with Eli. \n\nWhen I read the description of my Enneagram type, I felt like someone had reached inside my mind and pulled out my scariest, most vulnerable thoughts. All the parts of myself that made no sense suddenly became clear.\n\nWith that knowledge, I was free to release. Learning about the Enneagram changed everything because I was able to zoom out and see the big picture. I was free to make a choice to follow the egoic pattern or not.\n\nAnd here\u2019s the amazing thing: you can do this too!\n\nI know that for sure that discovering more about your type will help you better understand yourself, and those around you. And you will not take anything personally.
